I just found this
tonight. I wrote it several years ago
during a church women’s retreat.
I am lost
Where is the path?
Darkness envelopes
me
All is still
In my confusion
I stop and sit
I listen finally
And hear the
shepherd’s voice
His light shines
down the path
Lighting my way
True friend of
friends
The one who will
never leave me
He takes me by the
hand
And leads me home
